INTRODUCTION

Get to Know MTI

The Many Trading Indicator (MTI) is an indicator for chart analysis and trade decisions on TradingView, developed to help you see market direction more clearly and to focus on trading in line with the price trend (Trend Following).

MTI's core idea is to help users avoid trying to guess the market or forcing counter-trend entries, and instead focus on finding opportunities when the market has a clear trend, entering with the market's momentum systematically.

  • Shows Buy-Sell Signal with TP/SL/Entry all in one system
  • Includes Trend Moving Average detects the main trend automatically
  • SMC extra functions: Market Structure, Order Block, FVG, Divergence
  • Not a trading bot — you decide when to enter and exit orders yourself

TARGET USERS

Who is it for?

MTI is designed to suit users at many levels, from beginners to the experienced — start with the main signals, then gradually layer in the extra functions as you grow familiar.

LEVEL 01

👶 Beginner

Start with the Buy-Sell Signal together with the TP/SL levels first; you don't need every function at once — focus on learning to enter in line with the market direction.

LEVEL 02

🎯 Intermediate

Use the main signals together with extra functions such as the Trend Moving Average and Market Structure to filter entries that align with the overall market.

LEVEL 03

🚀 Advanced

Combine SMC tools such as Order Block, Demand/Supply, FVG, and Divergence with your own analysis approach flexibly.

03
CORE FUNCTION

Buy-Sell Signals

The Buy-Sell signal is a core function of the MTI system, used to filter suitable entry points for trading with the trend only — it creates no counter-trend signals

Processed from Strength Oscillator, Candle Pattern and price behaviour in the form of reversals and rejections, to filter moments that align with the main trend

  • No repaint — once a signal appears you can use it to enter immediately, without waiting for the candle to close
  • Filters only the moments when the market has a clear trend — you don't have to interpret every candle yourself
  • No counter-trend signals — reducing the chance of entering the wrong side
  • Caution: During sideways periods signal quality may decrease; always use it together with risk management.

CORE FUNCTION

TP / SL / Entry Range

The system shows the key levels Entry, Entry Range, TP1/TP2/TP3, and SL of each signal, so you see the trade-plan framework before entering an order

  • Entry — the main reference point for entering an order
  • Entry Range — the price band still suitable for entering; no need to enter at a single point
  • TP (Take Profit) — profit-target levels, split into 3 levels
  • SL (Stop Loss) — the stop-loss level if price moves against the plan

If you miss the first entry but price is still within the Entry Range and has not hit TP/SL, you can still consider entering — as long as the signal has not broken its structure

Example of TP/SL/Entry displayed on the chart

CORE FUNCTION

TP/SL Table — Current Status

A table summarising the latest signal's key data in an easy-to-read, quick-to-understand format — to support your decisions.

  • Signal side — Buy & Long or Sell & Short
  • Entry Range — the suitable price band for entering
  • TP1 / TP2 / TP3 — profit targets at multiple levels
  • SL — the stop-loss price level
  • Trend — the main trend, Uptrend / Downtrend
  • A marker appears when an order hits TP/SL
TP/SL table — current status
06
CORE FUNCTION

Trend Moving Average

A specially built custom Moving Average — used to calculate and display the market's main trend, to filter the direction of Buy-Sell signals so they align with the trend

  • 📈 Uptrend — the market is in an uptrend; the system creates only Buy only
  • 📉 Downtrend — the market is in a downtrend; the system creates only Sell only
  • Not just showing the trend, but filtering the direction of signals to prevent counter-trend entries,
  • reducing the chance of entering the wrong side unnecessarily

07
STATUS SIGNALS

TP Hit / SL Hit / SWAP / Wait Signal

Supplementary functions that help users track the status of signals and the trade plan clearly

  • ✓ TP Hit — the signal reached the Take Profit level (TP1, TP2, or TP3)
  • ✗ SL Hit — the signal moved against the plan and reached the Stop Loss
  • ⚡ SWAP Signal (yellow tag) — the signal switches sides while the previous order has not reached SL; use it to consider closing the old order and opening a new one with the trend
  • ⏸ Wait Signal (grey tag) — the system has no clear new entry signal yet and is waiting for confirmation under its conditions

WORKFLOW

How to Use — 5 Steps

Start using the system with simple steps — focused on entering trades by signal and with the trend

First check whether the market is on the Uptrend or Downtrend
Wait for a Buy-Sell Signals that occurs in line with the market trend
Once a signal appears, view the Entry / Entry Range / TP / SL to plan your entry
If you miss the first entry but price is still within the Entry Range and has not hit TP/SL, you can still consider entering
Choose your exit approach by style — short scalps (TP1/TP2) or holding longer (TP3)

RECOMMENDED

Recommended Assets & Timeframes

MTI works with any asset and any timeframe, but the system has a recommended timeframe for each market for the best signal quality.

Asset
Recommended timeframe
Signal frequency
💱 Forex
1 / 5 / 15 min
20–40 signals/day (1m TF)
₿ Crypto
15 / 60 min
1–10 signals/day
📈 Stocks
15 / 60 min
1–3 signals/day (15m TF)

⭐ The 15-min TF is the timeframe that suits MTI best overall — balancing signal quality, market stability, and convenience in following the chart

10
SETTINGS

TP/SL and Trend Sensitivity Settings

To start, we recommend using the default values the system sets first — they have been tested and used in real conditions

📊 TP values recommended by the system

  • TP1 = 0.5 RR — short profits, fast in and out
  • TP2 = 1.0 RR — short profits, with more distance than TP1
  • TP3 = 1.5 RR or more — hold longer and let price run with the trend

The system uses ATR (Average True Range) to calculate the TP/SL distance — the distance adjusts to the chart's actual volatility at the time, keeping it consistent with market conditions

⚡ Trend Sensitivity

HIGH

More sensitive to trend changes

responds to price changes faster, but signals may also change more quickly

NORMAL ⭐

Default (recommended)

a good balance between signal sensitivity and system stability, suitable for most users

LOW

Steadier and more filtered

suits those who want less sensitivity and a clearer trend before signals are displayed

11
EXTRA — SMC

Market Structure (BoS / CHoCH)

Extra tools for analysing price structure in depth — suited to those who want to judge entry timing on their own

  • BoS (Break of Structure) — price breaks the previous structure in the direction of the main trend → the existing structure continues
  • CHoCH (Change of Character) — price behaviour starts to change from the previous structure → a warning that the structure is changing
  • BoS+ / CHoCH+ — sub-level structure, minor waves within the main trend, used to see detail at a deeper level

A key foundation of Price Action / Smart Money Concept (SMC)

Example Market Structure — BoS and CHoCH
12
EXTRA — SMC

Demand / Supply Zone

Key price zones where there was prominent past buying or selling — used to watch how price reacts when it returns nearby

  • 📗 Demand Zone — a zone with prominent past buying; when price pulls back into it, it may be a point to watch for Buy opportunities
  • 📕 Supply Zone — a zone with prominent past selling; when price rebounds into it, it may be a point to watch for Sell opportunities
  • Use it to support analysis, not as an immediate entry signal; use it together with the trend, price structure, or candle behaviour
Example Demand / Supply Zone on the chart
13
EXTRA — SMC

Order Block (OB)

Key zones that may affect the market's later reaction — shown on 2 main sides

  • 🟦 Bullish OB (blue) — an area with prominent past buying that may act as support when price comes back down
  • 🟧 Bearish OB (orange) — an area with prominent past selling that may act as resistance when price comes back up
  • Use it as an area to watch price behaviour rather than an immediate entry signal
Example Order Block on the chart
14
EXTRA — SMC

Fair Value Gap (FVG)

Price gaps, or areas where price movedunusually fast, creating a period where price has not been filled in a balanced way in the short term

The FVG concept: in some periods the market has rapid buying or selling, moving price so strongly that a "gap" appears — many people watch this area to see how price reacts if it later returns to touch it.

  • Bullish FVG — in an uptrend, a pullback touching it may be a point to watch for Buy opportunities
  • Bearish FVG — in a downtrend, a rebound touching it may be a point to watch for Sell opportunities
  • Use it as a zone to support analysis, together with the main trend and market structure
15
EXTRA — SMC

Divergence (4 forms)

Analyses the relationship between price direction and the indicator's momentum — if they begin to diverge, that point is a Divergence

MTI uses the RSI Divergence concept, detecting and displaying it automatically, with 5-candle confirmation before display, so signals are clearer and more reliable

Example Divergence on the chart
REGULAR · BULLISH
📈 Regular Bullish

Price makes a lower Low but the indicator makes a higher Low → downward momentum weakening, the market may recover

REGULAR · BEARISH
📉 Regular Bearish

Price makes a higher High but the indicator makes a lower High → upward momentum weakening, the market may pull back or reverse down

HIDDEN · BULLISH
🔼 Hidden Bullish

Price makes a Higher Low but the indicator makes a lower Low → buyers still in control; the pullback may be a pause before continuing up

HIDDEN · BEARISH
🔽 Hidden Bearish

Price makes a Lower High but the indicator makes a higher High → sellers still in control; the rebound may be a pause before continuing down
