Gold is our primary example · MTI works across all markets and timeframes

Most examples on this page come from Gold (XAUUSD), especially the 1 / 5 / 15-minute timeframes that we use most often. However, MTI can be used across all assets and timeframes available on TradingView, including Forex, Crypto, Futures, Stocks and commodities. MTI follows a trend-following approach, so it is best suited to periods when the selected timeframe is showing a clear market trend. Signal behavior and frequency will vary with the market and timeframe.
